_ [BSD][X11][Fonts] X11でのFontの設定(3)

しばらく前にx11でのFontの設定について書いたが中途半端なままになってしまっていた。FreeBSD HandBookの Using Fonts in Xorgにあるように portsからinstallされたFontは/usr/local/share/fonts/に置かれる。ディレクトリについてはxorg.confに追記する必要がある。またscalableであるTrueTypeやOpenTypeを使うにはxttはすでにobsoleteなのでfreetypeを追加する。私の場合はportsにあるFontをほとんど入れたのでこんな感じになっている。

ここまでは前の記事で書いたものとほぼ同じでXftとfontconfigの関係が曖昧なままであったが、Xftの設定をfontconfigで行うが一部のアプリケーションではfontconfigの設定を無視するのでXftの設定もしておく必要があるようである。
